TEAMcare Program Training
Training Services
We conduct in-person training sessions locally in Seattle and throughout the U.S. and Canada. Our next two-day TEAMcare Program Training takes place September 26-27, 2013 in Seattle, WA. To register go to training registration in the left column. The two-day training is designed to equip all members of a TEAMcare team – including both clinicians and administrators – with the skills and knowledge to implement the TEAMcare Program successfully in their organization.
The researchers and clinicians who developed the TEAMcare Program and have implemented it successfully in real-world settings are the same individuals who lead the TEAMcare Program Training.
Training is taught by an ensemble of clinicians (i.e. nurses, physicians and psychologists) and includes a dynamic balance of didactic instruction, demonstration sessions, group discussion and practice exercises.
All participants receive the TEAMcare Program Toolkit and are guided through its contents during the training. We offer an electronic copy of the TEAMcare Program Toolkit. However, it is only through in-depth conceptual explanations, skill building and in-person constructive feedback from TEAMcare experts during the interactive elements of TEAMcare Program Training that individuals can become proficient in conducting the TEAMcare Program.
The 2011 NCQA criteria for level 2 medical home will require primary care clinics to demonstrate quality improvement efforts for three disorders, one of which is a behavioral disorder such as depression. The TEAMcare program can help you meet this NCQA requirement.
